If your idea of outdoor recreation involves challenging water sports like kayaking, canoeing, rafting; or rugged land activities like bikepacking or motorcycle touring, they are the perfect storage bags to keep your gear dry. A white interior laminate affords greater visibility, and lash loops allow secure stacking or attachement to watercraft, motorcycles and other equipment. The hypalon non-wicking roll-top closure keeps water out, and the Field Repair Buckles can be replaced in seconds with just a Phillips screwdriver. Big River Dry Bags were also designed with an oval base to save space when packing and prevent them from rolling away.

Shipping & Returns

We use climate-neutral shipping:
DHL GoGreen for orders to Germany, Austria, France, Italy and Czech Republic and
GLS Klima Protect for orders to Belgium, Denmark, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Sweden, Switzerand and Norway.

All orders are usually shipped within 48 hours. 

Delivery time can take up to 3 working days Germany-wide, 4 working days for orders to AT, BE, CZ, DK, FR, IT, LU, NL & SE and 6 working days for orders to CH & NO and depends on the shipping service provider.

Shipping cost:

  • Germany: For orders with a value below 100€ we charge a shipping fee of 4,95€. We do not charge shipping fees for orders with a value over 100€.
  • France, Italy, Austria, Belgium & Netherlands: For orders with a value below 100€ we charge a shipping fee of 9,99€. We do not charge shipping fees for orders with a value over 100€.
  • Luxembourg: We charge a shipping fee of 9,99€ for all orders.
  • Czech Republic: We charge a shipping fee of 14,99€ for all orders.
  • Denmark: We charge a shipping fee of 75 DKK for all orders.
  • Norway: We charge a shipping fee of 599 NOK for all orders.
  • Sweden: We charge a shipping fee of 235 SEK for all orders.
  • Switzerland: We charge a shipping fee of 29 CHF for all orders.

All orders can be returned within 14 days of purchase. However, for the sake of the environment, please make sure to keep returns as low as possible.

What makes an item a "Second Summit" product?

A "Second Summit" item may be a customer return, a sample item or an item with damaged packaging. In some cases, we have a batch of certain products that are produced with missing features. These cannot be sold as A-grade products. In these cases, we note exactly what is missing. All "Second Summit" products are tested and fully functional.

Do "Second Summit" products work like new ones?

Yes. Every product is tested to ensure full functionality. If a special feature is missing, this is noted on the individual product detail page.

Why are "Second Summit" products cheaper?

Because these products cannot be sold as "brand new". This may be connected to open, missing or damaged packaging, minor missing features, or being a demo or returned item. The functionality is not affected.

Do I get a warranty?

Yes. All our "Second Summit" products come with the same warranty rights as all other products. Please see our warranty policy here.

Second Summit Example Items

Damaged Packaging

One of the most common reasons for a Second Summit product is damaged packaging. The product itself is often still in like new condition, which is why we sell it here.

In some cases, the packaging may be missing entirely. We will only sell the product as part of the Second Summit if it is still in like new condition.

Coloured Packaging

For a variety of reasons, the packaging of returned items may be slightly discoloured.

Discoloured or slightly damaged sack

Sometimes, the stuff sack or compression sack from a Second Summit product is slightly damaged (may contain a small tear, but without significantly affecting the function of the stuff sack) or discoloured.
