Compression straps make it easy to evenly compress soft items, and the hypalon non-wicking roll-top closure also keeps the water out. Does this bag work for modular packing in a backpack?

Yes! Use them for all compressible items, squeeze the air out then pack the dry sack into a tight space so it doesn't draw air back in. Perfect for sleeping bags and insulated clothing.

Is this dry bag suitable for paddle sports?

No. Featherweight fabrics are not appropriate for the sharp or abrasive elements in water sports. We recommend <a href=\https://seatosummit.eu/products/lightweight-dry-bag\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Lightweight Dry Bags</a> for general matdle use.

Is this dry bag waterproof?

The body of the dry bag is waterproof enough (2000+ mm hydrostatic head) for use as storage inside a backpack or duffle. However, for water sports or on its own, we recommend dry bags with higher hydrostatic head ratings.
