An evolution of the renowned Ether Light mats has arrived with the XR Pro. Staying true to their comfort and durability, the XR Pro boasts ThermalCore technology which increases insulation value while keeping weight and packed volume to a minimum. Air Sprung Cell construction provides 10cm of plush comfort wherever you sleep. Inflation and deflation are a breeze with the XPRESS valve and Airstream pump built into the stuff sack. With double the weld strength of previous models the XR Pro is perfect for alpine adventurers, cold-weather hunters to winter campers. Outdoor winter sleep never felt this good.

  • DHL GoGreen for orders to Germany, Austria, France, Italy and Czech Republic and
  • GLS Klima Protect for orders to Belgium, Denmark, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Sweden, Switzerand and Norway.

All orders are usually shipped within 48 hours.

Delivery time can take up to 3 working days Germany-wide, 4 working days for orders to AT, BE, CZ, DK, FR, IT, LU, NL & SE and 6 working days for orders to CH & NO and depends on the shipping service provider.

Frequently Asked questions

Is the reflective layer inside the mat noisy?

No. The ThermalCore materials are much softer than traditional reflective films. The construction means the material is not under stress when in use. This is often the case with baffles made of reflective film. Some sound will come from the high-thread count face fabric depending on the sleeping bag/tent floor it comes into contact with.

Can you use an Ether Light XR Pro for winter camping?

Absolutely - the ThermalCore insulation makes it suitable for air/ground temperatures well below freezing. In critical situations, a closed-cell foam mat should always be used as a just-in-case insulating layer.

What's the maximum weight the Ether Light XR mat will support?

An Air Sprung Cell mat normally runs at 0.5 to 0.7psi. More air pressure supports a greater weight. A sleeper weight of 140 kg / 300 lb requires a pressure reachable by mouth inflation, but significantly below the 8psi load limit of the welds

Can I leave the stuff sack or pumpsack at home and will mouth inflating the mat damage it?

You can mouth-inflate Air Sprung Cell mats. Inflating an Ether Light XR will take 20+ breaths depending on lung capacity, while using the integrated pumpsack reduces this to three or four breaths. Moisture from condensed breath inside the mat should be dried out before long-term storage.

Are there any PFAS or flame retardant treatments on the mat?

All Sea to Summit sleep products, including pads, sleeping bags, liners, and pillows, are non-PFAS and flame-retardant free.

Whats the coldest temperature the Ether Light XR pro is designed for?

Temperature ratings for sleeping mats are estimates based on air temperature, even though ground temperature may be much colder. The Ether Light XR Pro’s R-value of 7.4 is suitable even for winter conditions.
