The 1.6L stainless steel and silicone kettle heats up quickly on on all gas stoves, radiant electric stoves, and many induction cooktops. Double glass-reinforced nylon 66 handles ensure you won't spill a drop when creating gourmet coffee or a refined cup of tea, and the pop-up stainless steel and silicone cups round out the ensemble. The kettle also makes a great small cookpot for your serious gourmet creations.

Possibly. The kettle will work on most higher-powered cookplates, but not on lower-powered cooktops. Or cooktops running off inverters with lower power output

Can I use the Detour Kettle on a two-burner camp stove?

Yes - be sure to keep the flame pattern within the printed ring on the base of the kettle, and ensure the handles are in the vertical position.

Is the Detour Kettle dishwasher safe?

Yes - Detour Kettles can be washed in a dishwasher

What is the silicone rubber 'clip' on the inside of the lid for?

It's a 'lid keep' - you can clip the lid to the side of your kettle to keep the lid clean while cooking in an outdoor kitchen
