Keep your gear reliably dry and carry it comfortably on your back. Big River Dry Backpacks are a durable, and abrasion resistant option that uses a strong 420D nylon fabric. If your idea of outdoor recreation involves rugged water sports like kayaking, canoeing, rafting, or exploring some motorcycle touring, Big River products are the perfect storage bags to keep your gear dry. Adjust the comfortable straps around your shoulders, sternum and waist to keep it in place. A white interior laminate affords greater visibility, and lash loops allow secure stacking or attachment to watercraft, motorcycles and other equipment. The hypalon non-wicking roll-top closure keeps water out, and the Field Repair Buckles can be replaced in seconds with just a Philips screwdriver. It was also designed with an oval base to save space when packing and prevent it from rolling away.

DHL GoGreen for orders to Germany, Austria and Czech Republic and
GLS Klima Protect for orders to Belgium, Denmark, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Sweden, Switzerand and Norway.

All orders received by 12:00 noon on weekdays are usually shipped the same day. Orders received later are usually dispatched the following working day. 

Delivery time can take up to 3 working days Germany-wide, 4 working days for orders to AT, BE, CZ, DK, FR, IT, LU, NL & SE and 6 working days for orders to CH & NO and depends on the shipping service provider.

Shipping cost:

  • Germany, Austria & France: For orders with a value below 75€ we charge a shipping fee of 4,95€. We do not charge shipping fees for orders with a value over 75€.
  • Belgium, Netherlands & Luxembourg: We charge a shipping fee of 9,99€ for all orders.
  • Czech Republic & Italy: We charge a shipping fee of 14,99€ for all orders.
  • Denmark: We charge a shipping fee of 75 DKK for all orders.
  • Norway: We charge a shipping fee of 455 NOK for all orders.
  • Sweden: We charge a shipping fee of 219 SEK for all orders.

Is the harness adjustable?

A non-adjustable harness was chosen for durable simplicity on complex days of hauling gear.

How heavy a load can it carry?

The Big River Dry Backpack has a waist strap, not a hipbelt. A short distance carry limit might be 20Kg, a longer distance carry limit would be 12Kg, depending on the wearer.

Does it have any inside pockets?

It doesn't - but packing smaller items in dry bags/stuff sacks will keep them easy to find inside the pack.
