Description
Perfect dry compression storage for everything from bikepacking to sea kayaking and beyond. Made from a bluesign-approved recycled 70D nylon waterproof main body fabric and a 70D eVent waterproof but air-permeable base that allows you to push air out while still keeping your contents dry inside. This means there's no need for purge valve, making the Evac Compression Dry Bags light and simple. Four compression straps make it easy to evenly compress soft items, while the hypalon non-wicking roll-top closure also keeps the water out. DWR finishes on both fabrics are C0 non-PFC. Simple, rugged and reliable – the epitome of durability, versatility, and dry compression.
Technical Features

Super tough, super pliable, high thread-count 70 Denier fabrics. The PU coating is highly waterproof (rated to 10,000mm hydrostatic head), and is colored bright white to make it easy to find your gear inside these bags.

eVent fabric is an air-permeable, waterproof laminate used in two different functional areas in Sea to Summit products:
- In the base of our best-selling eVent Compression Dry Sacks, Evac Dry Sacks and Ultra-Sil Compression Dry Sacks. In this application, the laminate utilizes a 40 denier nylon face fabric: the material allows air to be pushed out of the dry sack/compression dry sack but prevents water from entering. This means you can compress the air out of a dry sack without needing a purge valve! In the upper section of our Quagmire and Alpine Gaiters. In this application, the laminate utilizes a 70 denier nylon face fabric. The material allows perspiration to pass through easily but prevents external water from entering. The result: waterproof protection and superior breathability!

Frequently Asked questions
Waterproof?
The body of the dry bag is more than adequately waterproof (10,000 mm hydrostatic head) – just avoid submersion, as water can seep through the roll-top closure of any dry bag.
Suitable for paddle sports?
Absolutely. The tough nylon material is perfectly suited to watersports use – be cautious around sharp objects or abrasive surfaces.
Good for modular packing in a backpack?
Yes! Use them for all compressible items, squeeze the air out then pack the dry sack into a tight space so it doesn't draw air back in. Perfect for sleeping bags and insulated clothing.
